Son of Late Shri Tulsi Ram; born on 15^th April, 1964 at Village Amargarh, Tehsil Paonta, Distt. Sirmour; Intermediate and I.T.I. Diploma (Electrical); married to Smt. Shashi Bala; three daughters; Agriculturist and Trade Unionist.

Served Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board as Telephonist, 1982-1994 & Junior Engineer, 1994-1998.

President: i) BJP Distt. Sirmour (thrice), ii) State BJP Kisan Morcha; and Vice President, State BJP.

Elected to the State Legislative Assembly in 2003; and re-elected in December, 2007 & December, 2017; Chief Parliamentary Secretary (attached with CM for Agriculture and Animal Husbandry) 9^th July, 2009 - December, 2012; Chairman, Welfare Committee, 2018-2020; Member, Library and Member Amenities Committee, 2018-2019, e-Governance-cum-General Purposes Committee, April, 2020 - July, 2020; and MPP & Power Minister 31^st July, 2020 - December, 2022.

Elected to the Sate Legislative Assembly (4^th term) in December, 2022; and nominated as Member, Public Undertakings & Rural Planning Committees.
