Son of Smt. Reshmo Devi and Shri Ravinder Kumar; born on 15th August, 1979 at Bharmour, Distt. Chamba, H.P.; educated at Jawahar Navodya Vidyalaya Sarol, Distt. Chamba and Jawahar Navodya Vidyalaya Shegaon, Maharashtra (under National Integration Programme), MBBS, MS, (General Surgery) from IGMC Shimla & M.Ch. Neurosurgery from Benaras Hindu University; married to Dr. Kiran; one son and one daughter; Medical Practitioner.
Before being taken V.R.S. on 18th October, 2022 from Medical Education Department (H.P. Government) held various positions i.e. Medical Officer, 2009-2014; Assistant Professor, Neurosurgery, 2014-2019; Associate Professor, Neurosurgery, 2019-2021; Professor, Neurosurgery, 2021-2022; and Senior Medical Superintendent (IGMC), 2018-2022.
Elected to the State Legislative Assembly in December, 2022; and nominated as Member, Public Accounts & Ethics Committees.
Special Interest: Health Sector, Education and Tribal Affairs.
