Son of Smt. Kashulaya Devi and Jaishi Ram; born on 9^th January, 1956  at Sujanpur  Distt. Hamirpur, H.P; Graduate from Abdh University Faizabad (U.P); married to Smt. Mina Rani; one son; Horticulturist and Social Worker.

Joined Indian Army as a Soldier (GD) on 31^st July, 1976 and retired as a Captain on 31^st May, 2007. During 31 years of adventurous and disciplined service, posted in NDA & IMA (Dehradun) as a Instructor.

Member, Zila Parishad, District Hamirpur, 2020; State President (Ex-servicemen) Distt. Hamirpur. Joined Indian National Congress in order to better serve the people of his constituency, 2024.

Elected to the State Legislative Assembly for the first time in bye- election on 4^th June, 2024; and nominated as Member, Public Accounts & Public Administration Committees.
